Eetu Nisula, Matthew Swanson, Idaira Pinedo and Filip Dahlskog represented HSS in the J70 Finnish Championship during last weekend in Lahtis. A total of 14 J70-boats from around Finland gathered in LPS(Lahden purjehdusseura) to enjoy a weekend of racing in the sun.

“The first day we had almost no wind, so we only got in one race. Saturday and Sunday was a little bit more wind and action. There were a lot of good competitors. In total we sailed nine races and finished in 10th place. The races with the lightest wind were the ones where you had to have really good boat handling”, the team says. The championship was the first of three events in the J70 Grundig Cup. In July, the team is going to Hanko for the next Grundig Cup event.
